People Have the Right to Privacy
Even for the sake of safety, I would not be willing to give up my privacy. As stated in the Fourth Amendment, everyone has the right of privacy unless issued with a reasonable search warrant. The government should not be invading people's privacy for the sake of safety because they would be breaking our own constitution. It is unfair to have a government to search through our private records without our consent. The government should take the time to think of better ways to fight against terrorist. Instead of spying through everyone's whereabouts and actions, they should take the time investigating those who have possible ties with terrorist groups such as ISIS. And after careful investigation, the government has the right to surveil these suspected people. Other than that, the government has no right whatsoever to spy and search through citizens' privacy.
