Are We Really Free?

Although the right to privacy is not stated in the Constitution of the United States, it is a right that is assumed by most Americans. As Americans, we are known to live in a country with many freedoms, however are we really free? We are now being controlled almost every day with out even knowing it. Whether it be through tracked cell phones or excessive security at airports. Some of these security measures are understandable and just, but others are an invasion of privacy. Personally, I understand certain measures the government takes in order to protect us from any harm, such as excessive security at airports. However looking through personal messages and emails or tapping on phone calls is definitely an invasion of privacy. I am willing to give up some of my privacy in order to ensure my safety as long as it is reasonable. Government tracking of cell phones and snooping through emails and messages is not acceptable and should be stopped immediately.
