Invasion of privacy

Privacy might not be stated on the U. S Constitution but it is implied that each of us has the right of privacy. Everyone should be entitled of their own privacy. In terms safety, the government can still protect us without invading our privacy. The way the government look through everything is not protecting its citizen, it is just gathering useless information. Invading through messages, calls, and social networking is not protecting. It is just plain invasion of privacy that the government wants to do. They could keep us safe in other ways such as asking permission to look into our personal life. Therefore I would not give up my privacy and freedom for the sake of “safety.” I believe the government should find other ways to protect its citizen without invading their privacy.
